Campus Information
The State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Himachal Pradesh, is located at Craignano, Mashobra, about 15 km from Shimla. The institute is situated in the midst of scenic beauty surrounded by thick forest cover and picturesque landscapes of Shimla hills.
The new SAMETI campus has been made functional from 1st April, 2008. It consists of well-equipped training halls, computer labs, and residential facilities. The infrastructure is designed to cater to the needs of agricultural extension functionaries and other stakeholders attending trainings.
The institute building has been constructed with modern amenities and sustainable practices, providing a conducive environment for learning and collaboration. The campus has ample space for field demonstrations and practical sessions, adding value to hands-on learning.

SAMETI is frequently visited by officers and farmers from various states under different schemes like SSEPER. Delegations from Haryana, Punjab, and the Ministry of Agriculture visit for exposure and training.
